Stamps of nearly EVERY quote in Kingdom hearts were made, not to mention all the stamps just showing the characters' faces... not to mention the quote "Got it memorized?".So I thought that one of the most character deep lines should also be put onto a stamp. Since it wasn't done yet. Be ashamed fans.
Unfortunately you can't really see Lea's face here... and why is 'immortal' such a long word?
It took me ages to adjust the words right.Anyway, the stamp is based off of this scene in the game, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, the pretty much only scene where Lea shows up in the game (save for a scene in the credits but that's beside the point now ) [link] , the smile Lea pulls of at the end is the one in the stamp... but not so clearly visible -_-
Lea is Axel's Somebody and an important character in the Kingdom Hearts series.

You're the first to notice that I accidentally wrote 'Nobody'. That word is just used so much more frequently than 'Somebody' in the games. Anyway, thanks.

Yeah, but then it would have felt more like a fight than play and I don't think that would have been good. I mean, a trained sword fighter going against a child? That would just be wrong.

I absolutely loved the concept he was portraying here. ^^ "Through people's memories, I can live forever." And with the fact that everyone loves Lea (knowing full well from the first time they saw him that he'd die later as Axel), I'd say you picked a wonderful quote to feature him with. : D Could I use this stamp?
(P.S. I think the word 'immortal' and Lea's face both look fine. (: )

And yes, I was so excited when I finally reached the part where he showed up, I mean I when I played Ven's story I knew he would show up sooner or later but I was so excited when he (and Isa) finally did 
And of course you are allowed to use stamps on dA, you need a subscription to use them on journals and/or your front page, though.

Yeah. : D I was actually a little bit surprised with how little screen time the each of them got, and kept expecting them to pop up in Terra or Aqua's storyline. But after I thought about it, I decided it actually worked out better that way. ^^ Square and Disney know what they're doing.

Yeah, I also think the amont of screentime was sufficient. It's not too little as that no one will forget it happened but it also wasn't too much as that the developers wanted to slap you in the face that these characters will become important in some (chonilogicaly) latter games.
One thing I just wish they finally did is having the characters' names spoken in voiced dialog. And I mean all names, most of Organisation XIII's members we wouldn't even know was it not for Jimminy's journal. And fans are still puzzling as to how to pronounce Braig or Xigbar or Aelous(<- I didn't bother to look the spelling up now).
But oh well, if it's meant to be then it will happen

I always think it would be neat if Demyx's name was pronounced "dem-aix." Just 'cause everyone does "dem-ix" I guess. It would like, shock everyone.

Demyx' name is the one that got it's pronounciation from KH II Final Mix. I wanted to show you the cutscene but I can't seem to find it, it's one of the scenes with japanese dub where all the members are sitting in Where Nothing Gathers. You can look for it if you wish.
And during the conversation Demyx' name falls.

Well, I meant I was talking about the English pronunciation of his name though. I mean, "Marluxia" was said multiple times in CoM but everyone still thought it was 'mar-luks-ee-ah' until the English version came out.

My favorite part is when Isa says " from where I stood,the only thing you drew was a big L on your forehead for Loser...Lame, Laughable..." hahaha...I just love when he says that!!!....Saix is a really bad guy...sure hope you don't have friends like him hahahaa XP

Yeah, that line is awesome
I also really like Saix, I think that Saix was always concerned about Axel and in the cutscene (I think it was only in Final Mix) where he learns that Axel died he briefly looks sad.
And I also think that this secret plan he and Axel had was to overthrow the Organisation themselves and get their hearts back because (I think; this is all just my assumptions) all he ever wanted was his and Axel's hearts back. But Axel never realized that and after he became best friends with Roxas and Xion Saix was quite heartbroken (no pun intended) and because he was lacking a heart he could not comprehend that a friend would still help a friend.
Axel did the same when he realized that Roxas had amnesia. A friend would still call an amnesiac frien a friend but he lacked the heart to comprehend that.
Isn't it awesome how great they managed to show that the characters have no hearts? Normaly it's really hard to show that a character has no feelings but in these two cases they really did a great job.

I much prefer the way Lea goes about immortality over Xehanort.
I'd do the same thing if I cared when people said my name wrong. XD And obviously people remember me, I somehow got voted class clown in school.

Well, Xehanort actually wanted to live forever, Lea was just some human boy who liked to show off. Lea was aware that his way wasn't really one that was going to grand immortality (he probably didn't even believe/know that a real thing like immortality existed).
But it still is a very nice way of thinking - and true. If people keep thinking about you, maybe even tell their children about you so that they know about you, even after your body decays, you'll live forth.

Yeah, as I said in the artist's comment I think this is one of the most character deep lines I've ever seen. And in his speech he practically explained why he often says "Got it memorized?". How often does a game/manga/whatever explain why a character has a particular speaking habit?
That is just awesome.
And I think it's funny that the "I'm immortal" line kinda references that he was meant to die at the beginning of KHII after the fight with Roxas but because he was too popular with the fans and the staff they let him live a little longer and also that he's one of the characters that are still connected to Sora at the end of BbS/KHII and Re:/Coded.

I totally agree with you, i'm surprised more people haven't picked up on it actually, considering as you said he is such a popular character.
Oo I never made that connection, just makes it seem deeper than it already was.
