Got inspired by Gaiman and McKean's book Crazy Hair to draw someone with crazy hair. So I did.Made in photoshop CS3, with my new bamboo tablet (goodbye graphire tablet from circa 1998), texture from CGtextures.
No reference used, actually, which is rare for me.

Thank you. Yeah, I'm starting to feel like I'm getting more and more comfortable with experimenting with style, instead of just trying to be like other artist I admire, as you often tend to do when you're younger.

yes i totally get that. i used to feel really uncomfortable about looking like other artists i loved, and i tried to work on my style, but with all the school work in the way i feel like i'm stuck again D:

Sure lives up to the title, kinda reminds me of the marquee of the movie Skinwalkers
