Just a peek on Whisper's new outfit in 'A Tale of Two Butlers' since Forgetfish decides to make a new kimono for him. I had to do a bit of research on colors and patterns for him. It was hard to find any info on kimono's from the 1600's, so I had to make do with what info I had, even if it looks modern. I'd say feminine, but we've seen Whisper has crossdressed before, so I don't need to take that into consideration.

I chose these two patterns for his kimono, for their symbolisms based on his personality:
Cherry Blossom (Sakura) with it’s distinctive notched petals, blooms briefly and is fragile. It symbolises new beginnings, renewal (early Spring), beauty and the transience of life.
Peacock (Kujaku) This bird is associated with love, good will, nurturing, and a kind heart.

and the colors Green and blue for these reasons:
Green: The color green promotes love of nature, family, friends, pets and home. It is the color of people who love being in the garden, at home, or being a good host. But green color meaning can also be associated with being new or inexperienced.
Blue: The color blue is your helper, savior, your friend in need. The blue colors success is defined by the quality and quantity of its relationships. It’s a giver, not a taker. Blue likes to build strong, trusting relationships, and is deeply hurt if the trust is betrayed. It is a color that symbolizes loyalty, strength, wisdom and trust.

I used the kimono colors of Green and Blue and it's known as Matsu which can be used all year round.
