I have wanted to do something like this for almost a decade now, and thanks to my skills ever growing, I now have enough confidence to think I can do something at least half decent.Inspired by 's work, and more directly inspired by due to.... mentioning it... XD I have created this.
It's basically just a pencil sketch of what I believe Blaziken might look like if it was more realistic. I tried not to actually alter it's design too much, and I hope it still looks like the pokemon, but also looks more realistic. The beak is ackward.... as is the background in general XD I accidentally used a water based pencil for part of the tree.... @_@ Turned out ok though I think.... I wish I could have made the leg feather's more visible....

Well, I didn't want to resort to this, cause I've used so many of your drawings, but can I use this for my Blaziken card? It's so hard to get art lately, and it's just an awesome piece of awesome XD

Amazing texture work dude, especially for the scally bird hands/talons/whatever.
If there's one thing I wish I could have seen (however unrealistic it is) It's the fire coming from his wrists.
Still, as if you didn't know, that's an excellent likeness where it looks like the pokemon... and spectacular in the realism!
