Impact

For anyone having recurring nightmares about Rubik's Cubes, this is probably not the best thing to be looking at. However, there is undoubted impact in the sheer magnitude of the fractal. It just does not slap you; it fairly shoves your front teeth down your throat.

The complexity and depth of the image add to the impact, with the distortion of the cubes in many parts adding an "Escheresque" feel to the image. It invites deeper searching and appreaciation of the details. The density of the cubes is about right, as more would be too crowded and less would reduce the impact some.

I would have liked to have seen more colour in it, even though I am a big fan of green as a colour. I just think a more vibrant feel could have been achieved. However, this is a fairly minor quibble, as these cubes really do tower over you.

For a simple fractal, it really is effective in the way it threatens to crush the viewer under the weight of all that cubist delight. The depth and the 3D elements really add to that effect. I really enjoyed this piece!

This would look REALLY cool blown up and hung on the wall. Just saying.

Thanks! The largest print size I have for this one is 16x24...
I guess I could render it larger by request from a potential buyer.
(actually I'd have to see if I saved the parameters or not...)
