When Force Shield arrived to Skylanders Academy no one could understand her since she was mute, she soon realized she can create an invisible mirror, breathe on it and write out what she was trying to say. What she was trying to say was "Can I be a Skylander? - Force Shield <3", they accepted her offer though some Skylanders didn't agree with letting in some random person who can create magical force fields in, especially Buzz who felt like she was hiding something.
  Attack 1- Mirror Shot: Press 1 to shoot a magical mirror that pushes enemies back.
  Attack 2- Force Field: Press 2 to create a force field that surrounds you and protects you from damage, press 2 again to enlarge it to damage enemies.
  Attack 3- The Invisible Box: Press 3 to create a box around an enemy, press 1 to push it onto other enemies.
  Soul Gem- Force Heal: While in the Force Field all projectiles that hit the field give you health.

Overture
"The Sound of Music"

Overture gained his magical abilities by listening to Mozart, Beethoven, Bach and the Gecko Chorus. But after listening to them on his old phonograph, he felt like he need to listen to it a different way, that when he ate the discs and all of the musical powers from the discs spread throughout his body (I don't know, It's a Skylands thing). He soon took his musical abilities to use them for good like stopping Kaos.
Attack 1- Musical Note: Press 1 to fling a music note at enemies.
  Attack 2- Sheet Notes: Press 2 to roll a sheet of paper that tramples over enemies, press 1 to send more musical notes on it.
  Attack 3- Pirouette Percussion: Press 3 to spin around shooting musical notes around you.
  Soul Gem- Orchestra Overture: Hold 2 then press 3 to create a ring of sheet music that emits Musical Notes around you.

Gold Mine
"Yours, Mine, Ours!"

Gold Mine spent most of his life in hiding with his giant pot of gold, AKA the last pot of gold from his ancestors, and who was he hiding it from, why none other than Robbin Goblin. Her and her raccoon friends have been trying to grab at least one of his coins, but they fail every time. Gold Mine has to waste the coins most of times so he can escape Robbin and her goons, if the two aren't careful and think of a way to share the coins, they might ever find out where all those coins Gold Mine used have gone.
  Attack 1- Coin Flip: Press 1 to flip a magical coin at enemies, it does more damage if it lands on heads.
  Attack 2- Rainbow Leap: Press 2 to leap around leaving behind a deadly rainbow trail.
  Attack 3- Clover Spring: Press 3 to summon a 4 Leafed Clover that launches enemies into the air.
  Soul Gem- Pot O' Gold: Hold 1 to jump into the air and drop a pot of gold that explodes into a pile of coins.

Medallion
"Made of Medal"

Said to made out of every valuable mineral in Skylands, Medallion is rarely sent on missions due to the fact he could get captured and melted down. As much as Medallion wants to fight, he knows that staying safe is important to him and especially Flynn, who claims to be his very ""BEST"" friend despite not ever remembering his name.
  Attack 1- Metal Fist of Fury: Press 1 to punch enemies with your heavy metal fists.
  Attack 2- Medal Ray: Press 2 to shoot a ray of light that turns enemies into copper, silver or gold, the more valuable, the more damage.
  Attack 3- Echo Medal: Press 3 to bash your fists together to create a magical echo that bounces of metals.
    Soul Gem- Titanium Armor: A new set of armor makes all attacks more powerful.

Scabbard
"Cutting Edge"

Not much is known about Scabbard and where he came from, being a human in Skylands is pretty odd for a lot of the Skylanders since Humans can't get to Skylands, and even weirder is why his bottom half is a sword. Scabbard refuses to speak about where he came from, the only reason the Skylanders haven't forced him to talk is because he does a pretty good job at taking down Kaos's troops.
  Attack 1- Sword Slash: Press 1 to slash enemies with your sword body, press 1,1,1 to do a "Stab Slash" combo.
  Attack 2- Royal Ribbon: Press 2 to throw ribbon that wraps around enemies trapping them.
  Attack 3- Royal Magic Swords: Press 3 to summon 2 floating swords that aid you in battle.
  Soul Gem- Magic Residue: All sword attacks leave behind magic residue that deals damage to enemies.

Heart Breaker
"Giving love a bad name"

Heart Breaker is not much of a fighter, in fact he's not much of a Skylander at all, he spends most of his days shipping the other Skylanders with one another, by shooting them with his Heart Arrows. One time he shot Nightfall and Astroblast as they were arguing over parking spaces or whatever Superchargers talk about, they spent the next month staring at each other, Pop Fizz had to feed them like a bird and believe me no one wants to see that.
Attack 1- Heart Arrow: Press 1 to shoot an arrow made by the cupids of skylands, they will sometimes make an enemy fight for you.
    Attack 2- Arrow Swap: Press 2 to turn all of the Cupid's arrows to Imp's Arrows, they do more damage but make enemies slightly more powerful.
  Attack 3- Cupid Grenade: Press 3 to toss an explosive heart that makes enemies nearby fight for you.
  Soul Gem- Love is in the Air: Hold 1 to shoot multiple arrows into the air and rain down on enemies.

Bombozo
"Prepare to be Amazed!"

Bombozo wasn't well received when he first arrived, most of the Skylanders were terrified of him, Fling Kong hid in his house for a week until they had to pry him out with a crowbar, Eruptor lava barfed everytime he saw Bombozo and Boom Box had to get shock therapy due to the severe trauma he had when Bombozo arrived at his birthday party.
  Attack 1- Circus Ball: Press 1 to throw a magical bouncing bomb.
  Attack 2- Hoop Act: Press 2 to leap through a magical hoop, when you land confetti explodes everywhere.
  Attack 3- Unicycle Run: Press 3 to ride a unicycle, while riding press 2 to do a 360.
  Soul Gem- Balancing Act: Hold 1 to spin around on top of the bouncing bomb rolling over enemies.

Trixie
"Power it Up"

Trixie isn't really an ideal Skylander, she preferred to use her magic to do common tasks like opening doors, opening letters, opening pickles jars, and soon on. The one time she was sent on a mission she accidentally opened the prison doors to the Clown Prison, poor Boom Box couldn't sleep for weeks.
  Attack 1- Magical Slash: Press 1 to shoot your magical wand fingers at enemies.
  Attack 2- Tricky Spin: Press 2 to spin around slicing and dicing enemies all around you.
  Attack 3- Trickster's Mist: Press 3 to slice the ground open for it to emit mist that blinds enemies.
  Soul Gem- Spyro's Mirage: Hold 3 to summon a magical dragon that rams forward through enemies.

But he soon met up Mario, Luigi and many others as they were introduced to the Skylanders and Master Eon, they needed their help to stop an evil fusion monster from fusing everything into one being, the heroes from another world accepted their help and geared up for one of their most exciting adventure yet.
Attack 1- Flagpole Sword: Press 1 to swing your flagpole sword at enemies, press 1,1,1 to do a "Big Finale" combo.
Attack 2- Coin Shield: Press 2 to bash enemies with your coin shield, hold 2 to block projectiles.
Attack 3- Question Block: Press 3 to jump up into a Question Block that drops a power-up, mushrooms makes you do more damage, fire flower makes attacks leave continuous damage on enemies and the Star makes you invincible for a while.
Soul Gem- Coin Frenzy: Whenever you bash enemies with your shield, coins come out.
