This took me AGES to finish
Please excuse me - I will go and die now. It has about 50 frames (drawn ones - the complete gif has almost 200 after adding lamps) So tired x-x

But I must say that I am happy with the result. I was afraid that I am going to mess up background animation, but it turned out good
Since this was the biggest commission I had on my "to do" list, expect a big spam of drawings next week. Rest of commissions shouldn't take so long.

WAHHHH THIS TURNED OUT SO GOOD. It makes me glad that we decided to go with the loop on the animation x_x!! i think it looks much much bettee then it would of with the fade to black! The colors are utteely beautiful and the animation is so smooth! I also really love the lanturns xD I wasn't expecting such a Tangled vibe to come from it but I think it ended up suiting the animation quite nicely ;u; Thank you so much for your hard work on this! The end result was outstanding!!!

But I actually was inspired by the festival I saw in Thailand. I liked the lampions a lot!

Ooooh, really? :0 I wasnβt aware that such a festival existed! The most that I thought could be similar is a Chinese tradition that was shown in the movie Kubo and the Two Strings.

It does, and it is one of most impressive things I have seen! Entire sky is covered in lampions. People buy a lot of these and almost everyone sets one free making some wish. I've tried setting one into sky too
