He's a warrior of Ta'rus planet.
This one from Teoran knights clan.

In my book Ta'rus - humanoids, who fightinng for their empire.

Knights - a warrior caste.

There are three clans who run them - Diatta, Teoran, and Rattir.

Diatta - 

it is the most warlike clan.
Teoran - diplomatic
Rattir - planetary

internal security.
