How could anyone NOT love Lucas? He's just too adorable and I want to hug him to near-death... I'm looking forward to using him and Ness in Brawl, but I just hope I can actually get used to the rather unusual playing styles those two little brats represent. But they are just too nice and cuddly to ignore though, so I'm probably just gonna have to settle for looking like a fool for a long while! >:S
On a slightly serious note, it's good to see some lovely Lucas fanart that isn't anime based. Not that all that's a bad thing, but it feels refreshing to see the more traditional style used.

Lucas is very very fun to play as in Brawl. He's very powerful but sometimes hard to use (third jump anyone?), of course thats the same as Ness too. They're both very similar but are different at the same time.
And I'll definatly try to do some more cartoony style Lucas.

Well, that sounds good enough to me. Considering my champions in Melee are Luigi and Mr. Game and Watch, I think "very fun to play" fits perfectly within my interests. The third jump has always escaped me slightly for years now, but I suppose being a coward about it isn't really gonna help anything. I always did want play as Ness and shoving Lucas in pretty much means I now have no choice but to practice! I'm glad they both seem to have enough differences to them. I suppose the movesets they have kinda allow small changes to have a huge impact, overall.
Oh, and don't forget that a cartoony Ness is fine too!. ;]

So far i'm surprise to see him as one of my fav. characters on SSBB. His PK Freeze is my fav. move to us. I have to say he's a bit better then Ness, I hate what they did to his PK Flash, alot smaller then Melee which sucks. PK StarStorm= Win

Lucas is exceedingly powerful, but he does have his shortcomings, the main of which is his third jump. His Up Smash is pure rape though. XD

Mother 1/Earthbound zero (not released in the US but translated) is for NES
Mother 2/Earthbound is for SNES
Mother 3 is not released in the US and is currently being fan-translated is for GBA

Thanks! And yeah, his and Ness' third jump is hard to get down, but I fought Trowelhands and it seems he figured it out
I hoped that SSBB would have the trial of the game on it, like other games, but maybe I have to unlock it
Its a shame because now that I beat the game, its really not fun unless its with accual people
I sure hope they fix the Wifi problem soon
