Je vous présente.... mon personnage du Bâton de la Vérité qui ne porte pas sa tenue de combat 8'DComme on peut pas faire de fille dans le jeu (en même temps, c'est assez logique. Bah quoi? Que Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Butters et SURTOUT Cartman acceptent qu'une fille vienne jouer avec eux, excusez moi, mais je trouverais ça TRÈS chelou), j'ai décidé que ce personnage serait moi en version petit garçon UuU! Je l'avais appelé Julien (je sais, très american 8V!) car, selon ma môman, ça aurait été mon nom si j'avais été un garçon. Mais Cartman a commencé à l'appeler Connard, depuis tout le monde l'appelle Connard 8'D. Donc mon personnage s'appelle Connard OuO!
Comme je suis une rouquine dépourvue d'âme dans la vraie vie, mon personnage est un rouquin dépourvu d'âme aussi. Je m'attendais à ce que Cartman me vanne dessus mais..... apparemment, mon absence d'âme ne le dérange pas tant que ça....... il a juste vu que je suis kewl u3u! BITCH!

Since we can't create a girl in the game (which makes sense. What? It wouldn't make any sense at all if Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Butters and SPECIALLY Cartman let a girl play with them), I decided this character would be me if I was a little boy UuU! I called him Julien because, according to what my mom told me, it would have been my name if I were a dude. But Cartman started to call him Douchebag, since then everybody has called him Douchebag 8'D. So my character's name is Douchebag OuO!
Since I'm a ginger without any soul in real life, my character is a ginger without any soul as well. I was expecting Cartman to rip on me but..... it seems my lack of soul doesn't bother him that much...... he just saw I'm so kewl u3u! BITCH!

Just because they don't have the option for a female doesn't mean character creation is pointless. They have a large selection of options to customize your character so that no two look the same.

To me, character creation is more than just a bunch of sliders and hats: it's the creation of a character, with behaviour, personality and quirks. if you have character creation in your game, try to make every option you'd ever imagine the player would want. and just to give you perspective:
In Saints Row 3 i played as Abraham Lincoln, a alien with a Russian accent, and Wii fit trainer. can you do it in South Park? WELL BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME.

i don't caaaaare. After Saints Row, Skyrim and Mass Effect, i start to expect character-creation with gender included to be a little bit of a norm.
I'm okay... it looked like such a simple design-choice... especially since Douchebag looked like he was gonna be a silent protagonist.

It doesn't change the fact that an option to allow the player to play a girl in SP:SOT has still NO logic at all. I don't care what the other games can do. I don't care that you can be a girl in another game. We are talking about SP:SOT and its context. There is no need to compare it with others game (and it really annoys me when people compare a game with another. As if one game was an example to follow. That's really annoying) in which we can create a character of our own. We can't be a girl in this game and it makes sense. I would have been all "IT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE AT ALL!!!" if we could choose to be a female.

allright then. when, while IF, i get this game, i'm gonna compare it to Paper Mario... from a certain critic i'm not gonna mention by name, i heard it's EXACTLY like paper mario.... down to the fact that it uses graphics that looks like paper.

but Paper Mario was much more child-friendly.

Oh my, you remember me that a "professional" critic did mention something like this. He litteraly wrote "it is like Paper Mario" and didn't explain much about it. The basis of a critic is to keep in mind the reader probably didn't play the game they are mentioning. Their motto has to be "the reader doesn't know much about the topic you're talking about". I didn't play Paper Mario and when I read the critic it didn't help me at all.
