Pariah, for one, wasn’t particularly excited to hear that the eastern pack would be housing Taikan refugees. It went against why she’d chosen to settle in Skydas in the first place: to avoid these sorts of delusional cults. Perhaps they were a little better than the Kol, in not seeking bloodshed to bring about their power— but they were still, nonetheless, delirious in their self-righteous pursuit of fantasy.

However, Pariah could not deny the severity of her sister-pack’s situation. Their homeland was gone, taken from them in an instant under extraordinary circumstances. Where were they to go while they rested and recovered themselves? Albeit reluctantly, the harvester’s heart went out to the faces she’d once known as kin under the shared banner of Tündes. She wouldn’t so easily turn her back on them.
