Всегда было жалко Долгохвоста.Катастрофа может прийти оттуда, откуда ее совсем не ждешь, и разом перевернуть вверх дном все твое существование, разбить вдребезги твои мечты и цели .
Солнце, зеленый лес, пьянящий запах дичи...погоня, бросок, неразборчиво промелькнувшее что-то...красная вспышка в глазах, страшная, раздирающая голову боль. Прохладный компресс, приносящий лишь временной облегчение. И медленное, но неотвратимое угасание.
Каково это - потерять то, без чего ты не мыслишь своей жизни? И знать, что можешь увидеть свой дом и друзей лишь в своих воспоминаниях? Блуждать, словно крот, в вечной тьме...в одночасье стать беспомощным старейшиной.

There's really a lot of emotion visible in this piece....poor Longtail, he looks really sad.
I can't beliefe that this is traditional media, btw...it just...so....fantastic looking! And there are so many details going on in longtails design on the right...his face with the scars, the stripes, the shading...it all looks so clean, yet also blurry in the fitting parts. Really awesome job you did there.

This is really sad and beautiful. I love the detail in it, from his fur to the different shades on the leaves. And I like the butterfly trying the two moments together. This is amazing, poor Longtail, but you captured his expression perfectly

This is one of the most beautiful illustrations I've seen for Longtail yet! The clawmarks you drew over his eyes really emphasis his blindness, and then you have the scene at the top, with him and Fireheart/star...gorgeous work, however sad it is to imagine how Longtail felt after being blinded ;w; <3

oh my...Longtail is my most favourite character ever, I feel so bad for him. I wish he never got blinded and Firestar will name him deputy, not Brambleclaw. I think that would be awesome.
I really feel bad for him, he lost his friends Tigerclaw and Darkstripe who he thought he can trust, then he lost his apprentice and then he ge got blinded for the rest of his life
