(I know I’ve done this cliché before (A Magic Black cat (e.g. Jynx the Cat)) but this is different because I get to go full-out Magician X3)

Info:
Once a shady traveling magician simply known as the White Spade, Rune Sesame was passing through a quaint little Cat Clan village he happen to stumble upon one day. During his arrival into the village, the people observed him with bewilderment because they had never seen such an odd-looking foreign cat; with his dark fur and odd clothing, he really stood out. In order to gain their trust he chose to put on a show for the village to let them know he meant no harm. He dazzled them with his mastery of prestidigitation with the aid of his magic top hat, wand tail, and his companion, a mystical and luminous white dove known as the “White Shadow.” Pleased with his performance, they allowed Rune to stay and reside in the village’s inn; but before calling it a night, Rune went for a walk. He discovered a small, run-down building at the end and off to the side of the village; intrigued by its mystery he decided take a look inside. It was then he decreed that this would be his new dwelling. Rune spruced up the place and made it his new Magic Shop for the villagers to visit.

Name:
Rune “White Spade” Sesame (He’s known as the “White Spade” because it’s his favorite card suit and the white fur of his muzzle resembles a spade suit; it's also ironic seeing as he's a Black Cat )

Personality:
Rune is very gentlemanly yet cryptic at times. He likes to speak in riddles from time to time, to befuddle his customers and other travelers. ::NEEDS TO ADD MORE::

Job:
He owns a store around the end of the village known as the “Hocus-Focus Magic Shop.” The building is small on the outside but perplexingly huge on the inside. There he sells his magical items and many other wonders; not all of his items are helpful, but one must figure that out one’s own. He also solves people’s internal issues with his hypnotism; his left eye (the one behind his monocle) is special—it’s hypnotic.

Relation to Lantern:
A faux (false) antagonist, Rune hinders Lantern’s journey with mysterious trickery; he believes he does this to help Lantern learn new skills and techniques, preparing him for future challenges along the way. He randomly appears in other villages, in a possible disguises; he’ll either challenge Lantern to match of wits or a physical/magical battle, after which he’ll reward him with rare items or he’ll trick Lantern in some way (EX: Bad or cryptic direction, hypnotizing him, etc.).
