Description Hooray for my first submission in over 2 years! Behold part of an engineering class assignment that turned into a slightly obsessive personal project. This is an exercise in proportion; I used an isometric grid (aka the box around the object) to make the most accurate drawing I could of a little die-cast model of an SR-71 Blackbird - fastest air-breathing manned vehicle on earth - that I bought once at the Smithsonian. The SR-71 is the most badass thing in the air, if you ask me - and they designed it in the 60's, with PENCIL AND PAPER. And slide rules. Amazing. The sketch isn't perfect, but it's sure as close as I could get it to be without anything more than a ruler and a pencil. It's kind of spaceship-y, isn't it? Enjoy!

P.S. Sorry for the scan quality - I currently lack photoshop, so you'll have to pardon the shadowing around the edges. Please just pretend I did it on purpose to make it look cool.
