I had a request from my good friend ~HorseyWings to color my sketch of a foal.
So here she is!

I'm okay at drawing dogs and wolves, but horses...no way! No matter how much time I spend riding them and watching them, I just can't get their faces right.

The bodies and legs are always easy for me, it's just the faces, I can never get them to look real enough. I like trying to make my drawings look as real as possible, but it's the faces that are really difficult for me. The eyes are the hardest, getting them to capture the surroundings and emotions of the animal is so hard for me. I'm good at wolf/dog eyes, but horse eyes are totally and completely different. I guess all I can do it practice and try again and again

yeah, and also trying to draw with a photo near you, I mean for me it's easy to sketch something out from a real photo.
