Today is my 7th anniversary with deviantART~! ; u ;

To celebrate, I decided to put together this little thing with my art through the years. Hope you enjoy!

And let me tell you...if you're ever feeling unsure of your art, go back and look through your old stuff. It was certainly entertaining for me!

2011 (Age 15-16)
This was my first full year on deviantART.
As you can see, it consisted almost exclusively of Hetalia fan art.
I used Gimp and all of my drawings were these weird pencil/digital hybrids.

2012 (Age 16-17)
I got more comfortable using my tablet and started using Paint Tool Sai.
This was the year I first got into roleplay groups and creating original characters.
Kanari (Blonde) and Kitara (Black/Purple) were my main characters.
I didn't do very much fan art this year.

2013 (Age 17-18)
Again, mostly original characters.

2014 (Age 18-19)
This was the year I started exploring more with lighting and other digital effects.
I also tried more dynamic poses than I was used to.
Fan art made a come back.

2015 (Age 19-20)
This was the year I started dating KC, and as a result, most of my art this year was of us.
What can I say...I waited 5 years to date him, of course I had to draw us once I had him!

2016 (Age 20-21)
Fan art made a huge come back, which is still mostly what I post.
I took a few art classes this year, including figure drawing, which I think really helped me.
I started over-saturating my drawings because I love over-saturated colors O u O

2017 (Age 21-22)
More Over-Saturation!!
I've been trying to focus more on small details before just finishing and submitting my art.
I've also been trying to keep a consistent coloring style.
I think this is the first year I've managed to finish a drawing and not hate it immediately after.

I'm proud of where I am as an artist and I am continuing to grow and push myself~!
