Flamingo1986 (Zachary Rich) is proud to present the front, three-quarters, and profile flash puppet rigs for Twilight Sparkle being used for his next pony animation - Double Rainboom!You can download the .FLA in CS4.0 format in the "GALLERY" section of the film's official website here: [link]

First of all, I wanna really thank you so much for making these puppets. I always wanted to make an animation with these, but I'm not very good at it and I always fail. Anyways, these look real and are awesome! Very useful and comfortable, with this everyone can get started at animating with ponies, we would only need a storyline that comes from our heads and animating skills, then we would make some awesome animations and clips. Really dear, thank you so much for making these. As for the puppets, you did well on drawing the parts of the body, such as the legs and the head. As I said before, it looks really cool and official! Thank you so much!

Hey there buddy! Nice job; the only thing is that in your front view of Twilight, her back legs are bow-legged. And if you look at some of the images of her front view (at least the ones I've managed to find on google) her hind legs don't protrude that far. She's got like, fat back legs and then normal back legs on your 3/4 ad profile. Just slim down those beefy hind legs in the profile, and I think you're good as gold. Of course, unless that's on purpose and it's meant to be that way? I'm not sure but, it looks a bit off. Good overall job though. Obviously, cause you're like, the master of ponies and stick men. But uh, yeah. Just go back and try to look through the episodes at Twilight in her front view and see if those hinds need to be slimmed down.

Good catch on the back legs! I'll make sure to tighten them up in v1.1 here at the end of this week. (I didn't give it much thought since the lower part of those legs are designed to be used for morphing the shape and can easily be fixed by the animator.)

This has been done extremely well! The expressions in the boxes are easy to see, they match expressions seen in the animated series and are easy to use, the detail is marvelous and the presentation is very crisp, clear, professional and brilliant for reference! The color scheme used for Twilight Sparkle and the body parts are spot on, I'd imagine that the animators of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic would have constructed something similar to this, making it seem more organized, thoughtful and that extra bit more excellent. You've done an amazing job with this, be very proud of this, you've sure put the effort in!

I would love to try this, but I have no idea on how to insert or create your own puppets. Do you know any guides on how to do this?? The program I'm working with is anime studio 9.

I'm new to using flash, so this is probably going to sound really stupid of me, but when I open the FLA in CS6 there's no images. The library and everything is empty, so it's more of just a blank template with the file name. Is there something else I need to do?
