I just thought of how john looked kinda like professor e-gad, so i did this for all of the homestuck characters.Karkat-Mario(the hero)
Sollux-Luigi(hero 'number two')
Terezi-Yoshi(loves to lick things)
Aradia-Princess Peach(the hair...?)
Eridan-DK(the hair XD)
Feferi-Diddy(hyperactive attitude)
Kanaya-Princess Daisy(dresses)
Equius-Bowser(STRONG)
Tavros-Waluigi(tall,skinniness)
Vriska-Wario(both are jerks)
Rose-Toad(gives helpful advice)
Nepeta-Toadette(has a hat)
John-E. Gad(duhh)
Gamzee-Piranha Plant(no idea)
Dave-Koopa(ironic)
Jade-Shroob(ran out of ideas...)
Ghost Aradia-Rosalina(she IS peach after all.)

Mario- Karkat is fine.
Luigi- Sollux is good.
Yoshi- Terezi still.
Peach- Nepeta.
DK: Tavros, just because no other character fit him.
Diddy: Rose, because of the same deal with Tavros.
Daisy- Feferi.
Wario- Gamzee. Gamzee's horns look like Wario's 'stache.
Waluigi- Eridan. Both are tall and purple.
Toad- Equius. In SMB2, Toad was the STRONG character.
Toadette- Aradia. Matesprit with Equius.
E. Gadd- John.
Petey Piranha- Vriska, just to be mean to her. Heh.
Koopa- Dave. Can't find a second role for him.
Princess Shroob- Jade, but I think a more fitting role for her
