Too right; the books were infinitely better. I don't think the movie treated the subject accurately, and it didn't really explored the characters' backstory.

I bought it right then, and read a chunk of it last night. There are no a&m stories ('Complete,' indeed!) but there is one story that does touch on reincarnation, and I suspect it's where archy's name came from. The first story comes off very jingoistic, but recall that Marquis was writing a century ago, in very different times.

I'm not sure-I know there is a myth of Cleopatra dying because of a snake bite. I'm not sure of it though. I have never drawn too many snakes or reptiles-that's why I started with the little one in this picture. Β
