EDIT: I changed the poles a bit (added shade and made them thinner) so it looks more like he's over the poles, instead of behind them Thanx ~bamina for telling me

My newest stallion Barded Duke in action!

The drive to Crimson Feather Stables hadn't been a long one and Duke had not at all seemed bothered by it.

Now they were waiting for their turn in the arena - or better said; Duke's turn. As it was free jumping. Coli didn't forsee many problems as she stood next to the well-proportioned stallion. They'd been training freejumping with him since he came to GFS as there had yet to be determined a steady rider for him - so if there's one thing he did well, it was freejumping.

Now if only he'd focus everything would be fine.

So far, everything went well; no mares in sight, though Duke's nostrils were constantly flaring as he was obviously smelling them. But that was fine...

Finally the sign was given that they could enter. Coli ran by Duke's side towards where the jumps started, before letting him go with a "Go Duke!".

Duke didn't need any additional encouragement as he fairly flew across the jumps - he obviously loved jumping as he took most jumps FAR too high for their respective heights.

Still, Coli couldn't help biting her lip in nervousness - the only thing that could go wrong now was if a mare showed up to distract Duke....

Well, what do you all think?

I used the same shading technique as the last time I drew him and I think I'm already improving a bit with it

Anyways, no stealing!
Oh, and I used a ref off of google for the pose...
