Is ZeIris really the more popular pairing? Iris was a dumbass, and she broke Zero's heart.

And yet people are calling LAYER the idiot. My favorite navigator, stupid? She lets you know which Reploids you can copy, how Mavericks attack you, and strategies to defeat them. OH MY GOSH, SO STUPID! NOT!!!

How about Iris then. Oh yes, um, choosing to fight Zero to create a world she knows he wouldn't want to live in to win his love! Wooooow what an Einstein!

Iris was pretty much just created for the sole purpose of giving Zero a broody badass, and for the teenage guys who play the game. Unfortunately, a load of teenage guys play these games, so naturally Iris gets a lot of love.

You know what ZeLay reminds me of? NaruHina. Think about it. A sweet girl who likes a stupid-ass blond, but he doesn't notice because he's an idiot. ZeLay is NaruHina! Now, the only reason I prefer NaruSaku is because I think Hinata's too good for Naruto. However, Zero (even though he's my least favorite Hunter) is an awesome character, and he totally deserves an awesome girl like Layer.

And you know what the best part is? Z's not an idiot like Naruto, so he of course can tell Layer likes him. But he doesn't have an answer yet, but he's not gonna break Layer's heart just because of that. And he doesn't wanna break her heart because he also likes her!! He's just too scared to admit it because of what happened to him! IT'S SO FUCKING ADORABLE!!!!
