Description
decluttrJust before going to sleep for the night I heard the storm rolling in from the west. I waited behind my flat, watching it come closer, closer and closer still. Shortly after this photo, I walked... ran back into the house.
Shot hand held as a series of 2 second exposures in "bursts" of 10 shots. The image I posted just before this one is, coincidentally, of the same patch sky.

Thanks kindly. It really is as much luck / fate to get a shot of lightning as it is skill of any kind. I have one from my film days of a thunderhead over the ocean, and this one from the summer. The two are more than 15 years apart and thats not from lack of trying

It's difficult to make a good picture from a thunder. BUT THIS IS AWESOME!
