Ah yes the Flash Sentry fan club, who is currently sitting in the corn of his broom closest, crying because he's all alone. I seriously don't like this guy cause there's nothing to like. Granted there's nothing to hate either, because really he's a woodstump that has the words "fan-girl service" carved into it. Now if he had say I don't know a personality other than generic nice guy, that would be one thing.
This does raise a problem:
One the one hand I can't hate this guy because who is nothing more than more glorified background pony.
But on the other hoof I can't really "punish" the fans for their enjoyment of making him into something more, anymore than me enjoying ideas like Lyra having a silly fetish for hands.
I think what his major problem is, is that he is a by-product of Equestrian Girls. And not because it's a mediocre film (though that doesn't help), I mean if this guy was just bg pony in the show instead of the fan girl service to make the movie more moniz he probably wouldn't have half the attention he does now. The problem is what little character development he had (which was not much) it was all Brad (human flash). That's what really bugs me. I feel that the pony shipping mostly based on the fact she's only dating Flash because he's almost like Brad, which makes Twilight really shallow.
I'll save more of my rant for a written thing, but as painful it for me to say this (and it is like having my knee broken) I think Flash/Brad would benefit from a small scene or episode to basically say "I like Flash as a friend and not just because of my adventure dealing with Sunset Shimmer."

I plan to do that actually, I'm sorry for the whole soapbox thing, I kind of got carried away, and the broom closet thing was just a joke, really that's more for Peppermint Twist fans *gets killed by angry Twist fans*. I was at least trying to make a valid point with my opinion, which is better than going "OMG Flash Sentry suxor! ....UNSUBSCRIBE!" lol sorry. ^.^;
