Description
My ode to summertime
I've been wanting to do this picture for a long time, and I finally found a great piece of stock photography. This is actually the first of a series of four that I want to do. Nothing says summer like delicious citrus fruits. Coming next : Lemon, Orange, and Lime

yeah it is, I used a texture to get the vintage look, though I did it in Illustrator as well

I'll tell you, these type of portraits aren't very complicated to do, at least technically, so if you're new in illustrator it won't be too hard to master them, the only tricky part I find is deciding what details to leave in and what to not use. Hope you have fun with illustrator!!

I don't think I've ever even eaten a tangerine, are you allergic to citrus fruit in general, or specifically tangerines? Just curious

Just tangerines, oddly enough. But my mom is allergic to just oranges. It's kind of weird. What sucks is that they taste so darn good, just can't have 'em.

Thanks ! It had to do with the fact I was wearing a tangerine colored skirt and shirt that day and the nickname just stuck. Hay, wanna be friends?
