Megan has to be careful because her dragon tends to smoke when he's happy. He rumbles when she scratches him under his wings, a bit like a cat purring but more gravelly. She can't sit under the smoke alarm when she does it, or he'll let out a gusty sigh and then the noise of the alarm is awful.
