maybe you could enhance the feeling (those birds[?] are spectacular) by cutting a 1/5 or 1/6 of the upper picture .... the tree crown is distracting

I used an IR filter (not lens), Hoya R72.
You will need a tripod and make sure it is a sunny day coz IR detects light.
Use a wide angle lens (not the zoom).
Take lots of pics...you've got nothing to lose.
Then edit it with PS.

There is a very interesting blur here created by the lens and the filter - almost gives the shot the effect that a tilt-shift lens does - I like it! In some ways it makes the scene look like a constructed model, where the IR is the icing on the effect.
