Four years ago a co worker, who I'd known for 16 years, killed himself. He was suffering from severe depression. I didn't know, none of us did. If anyone would have told me he would do that, I would have said they were nuts. He had taken off work to get help and rest, but it was too little too late. This pic of yours really hit me. Hard. Depression is the silent killer. It's can also be the elephant in the room. We know something is wrong, but we are all afraid to talk about it, or they don't know how to articulate their problems. And sometimes it's fear. Fear of being stigmatized, fear of being told "You're just over reacting, you just need to calm down." The worst part is, those who are left behind. They have to deal with the aftermath, wondering if we could have done to help.
Hang in there, love. I really enjoy your work and the world would be a little darker without you in it.
