Photoshop is better for painting. Illustrator is great for illustrations.

Haha, I would've guess Illustrator was great for Illustrations. After I posted my previous comment, I went an watched some YouTube videos, and your vectoring of Orlando Bloom, and Illustrator looks interesting. It looks like you can make many layers, all on once layer. I think I'll just go with the Photoshop + Illustrator package.
