I watched all the Devilman movies/OVAs in college, and read the manga, and even attempted the 1970s anime.
It...it is certainly a thing, one weird, no-holds-barred, rollercoaster ride of a thing. And my brain still isn't even sure if it likes the thing or not, I don't have negative memories of it, just strange ones XD Though my brain is definitely sure it likes this better than the dog animePretty sure I would definitely enjoy it were it done in your style lol

Oh man, it is the DEFINITION of weird. Devilman was so completely confusing to me on the first read. It is always super bizarre and terrible and strangely compelling, which is probably why I love it so freaking much. What a bizarre franchise. I just wanna draw parodies of it forever because it just parodies itself, you know?
