Description I wanted to try a moonlight scene and had some authentic old photos of paddle wheelers on the Cincinnati Ohio river shoreline

Wow, this is really great! My mom is close friends with Mr. Stobart and we have a couple of his paintings...so I can say that this definitely looks similar to his work, but it still has your own personal style. You captured the paddle-wheeler well, its almost identical to the ones you see on the Ohio river (gotta love being a Cincinnatian).

Very nice! The moonlight gleaming off of the riverbank and the merchandise on shore is wonderful. Excellent details on the paddleboat.

you did an amazing job capturing the era in this pic, usually the colors in pics like the are warm because along the river you think of hot, humid and muddy but i like the bright, refreshing colors you used, nice job!

thanks...of course it's in moonlight so all the colors will be cool tinged with bluish green.

well what do you know..how did that happen..I thot I'd have to ask my son how to do it! How did you like Stobart?? I've met him several times when he vivits Cincinnati and have a picture of the two of us on my easel.
