Haha, get it? Cuz it's Pie... and he likes.... pie. *ahem* TOTALLY NOT SHIPPING I SWEAR. Very much not shipping. No seriously guys, don't....sigh.... And like that I've made shipping happen. I even raised Soarin's eyelids in the last panel to make them less rapefacey. Clearly it didn't work.With Season 2 very very rapidly approaching and Dashie's rep with the Wonderbolts steadily increasing, we can only wait to see how they get along with the rest of her friends.
This took so long to make my drawing style actually changed partway through making it and I had go back and change stuff. And the word "rump" went through several iterations I considered, including "haunch" "flank" and (VERY briefly) "plot".
Rarity is, in fact, somewhat prone to horn prodding and generally smacking Twilight around . Applejack and Fluttershy aren't here because they had to go... do..... pony things.

Suddenly the doors open and the Cakes rush in, "What in tarnation is going on in here?"Β The are shocked at they see a now fat Soarin laying on the floor next to several empty pie trays, covered in pie and filly.Β
Pinkie has another pie in her hooves that she quickly hides it.Β "Hee hee!Β He really likes pie!"

Ok, there is your shipping.Β I shipped Soarin with Pie.Β He just tore that pie UP!Β Then again, pie gets around.Β It's always shipped with the popular ponies.Β Especially Pinkie!Β Heck it was even shipped with Twi in the first episode.Β You heard her.Β She went on about how she had to much of pie.Β To much PIE!Β We all know what that means.Β We saw that movie.Β We know what pie is good for.Β

There's something that is just hysterical about how Rainbow Dash desperately thrusts Twilight into Spitfire's face to distract her from Rarity. I'm also shocked how little there is on this Soarin and Pinkie. You'd think someone would have made this joke before.
