I painted this quite a while ago now! A bit of an experiment with different things - not sure I’m too fond of it anymore though.Thought they could be twin jackal guardians of Anubis’ tomb. Clearly referenced the design from the actual Anubis shrine. Maybe they could each represent Anubis and Anput!
