I haven't done a WIP yet so I decided to do one. XD I got bored and I just like how the diff. colors of greys contrast I though Glory looked pretty
This is just the lineart sketches 3 layers so far 
Yes, I use GIMP 2.6 and the ref pic is from Mark J. Barrnet

I merge half the layers into one like the lineart. I delete the sketchs and I merge the background and coloring and shading

I never merge my lines! D: It's too risky.

I mean with the other lineart like If there is tack I do the lineart on a diff layer and I do so on the mane and tail

Ohhhh, hah, I always keep my files in 'xcf.' just incase I wanna go back and edit them. xD

I know. xD I just save it differently, when I'm done with it I type down 'png.' or 'jpg.' I think png. is better though.
