Description I dislike summer. Too many people, to much visibility, too much ugliness and much too warm to do anything...
A spontaneous self-portrait. I was bored. I was in a chair and the camera in my lap. No editing.

But the not being able to do anything is the best part

It's a cool angle, definitely has the 'feel' of midsummer & heat. The glare of the sun is a little strong on the monitor, but it's (obviously) just how things are supposed to look.

I hate not being able to do anything. There is always that voice inside of me that tells me I have to do something useful(exploring or being creative) with every minute I have. Sometimes I drive myself nuts though..
I'm glad the picture brings across the right atmosphere. The sunlight is quite strong here. But I like it, I think it adds to the atmosphere.
Thanks for the comment ^ ^

True...though my definition of 'not doing anything' tends to involve a book or two....

Sure!

(I just read something about how different sunlight in the northern latitudes is, and how sunset paintings by, for instance, the Finnish look fake to people in the temperate zones. It's totally true.)

Just two?
I always thought that sunsets looked pretty much the same everywhere o.o

Well, I start the books after I get bored with the extra difficult puzzle

Nope! The amount of atmosphere makes a huge difference. Who knew?! (Climate scientists, evidently...I read a book and discovered that dust is very, very important. Philip Pullman was totally on to something.)

Thanks ^^ Not sure how I can explain it. There is no mystery summer, everything is too clearly visible. Everything seems so ordinary and boring.
I'm probably not making any sense to another person

I kinda understand what you mean.
but, isn't clarity and truth beautiful in itself?
