Spring time!I was walking thru the forrest when i 'bumped' into this little love act. I thought it was kinda sweet so i grapped my COOLPIX 885 and "wiuwiuwitt" this came up.
If you look close at the last pic you see a white thing coming up from the right snail

Snails are good. It is fun how you get closer with every shot! I have taken some photos of snails recently myself. Dunno why I was so fascinated. These are great pictures.

First this is awesome! Seriously. However the issue I take with it is the lack of color. Black and white is obviously a classic look, if you wanted to portray some sort of mystery within the scene black and white would have done nicely. However the snails are too camouflage within the grass and therefore the color would have helped us to distinguish the focal point. At this point it took me a split second to figure this one out. While that's not a long time, it was long enough for me to start off by criticizing before I said what I liked.
The fact that you captured this was great all by itself. I really enjoy when I see an artist go down to other levels to get a good shot. It's important that you don't just look in front of you but up down and all around.
If this was digital then I would assume you have the ability to shoot in color and then desaturate, I don't know if your camera actually outputs straight black and white. Either way take them all in color and desaturate the ones you like. That way you always have a color backup. Doing it in the camera or in Photoshop or the likes would have the same effects. Me as a film user I have to make the decision pretty much before hand, although I can print color on black and white paper
