i actually had a dream like this before with only the ring finger and thumb on my left and index finger and pinky on my right hand, after that i regretted it because i couldn't hold a cup properly, weird~

From a creative standpoint I like it. This image to me doesn't focus on the blood (like the many who pour 85 gallons to shoot with).. It's more about the passivity of the expression and the egregious extent of the action that makes this more interesting than a standard emo blood photo. The lighting from the side adds more mystery by keeping the eyes in shade, almost withdrawing from you seeing the expression although you can see it and it is a face of apathy. I guess in short it states, the person has endured lots and is at the end of the rope, where they can do evil things to themselves without any feelings of remorse, pity, or foreboding.
