While I was up north (still in the lower peninsula of Michigan) there was a beach that was relatively iced over. Some friends and I walked out near the edge these large hills of ice that had formed as a result of the waves, and viewed the lake. It was rather eerie, for there was a lot of fog that obscured the horizon and the water was a dark greenish-blue. The waves flowed in no particular pattern, but rather silently moved in an unpredictable manner. It was definitely a cool experience!Β© Copyright Flight-Level, 2015. Β All rights reserved.

It was definitely really cool to see the lake in the state that it was; it moved in an eerily slow manner, and the horizon was void of everything but fog.

It's a beautiful lake. Just what messes me up is it's not an ocean. No large waves, warm water, not salty (probably the creepiest).Β
