Great job! Nice textures, good pre-action pose. Finally, someone willing to draw a sword in a different position other than the side.

Thanks mate, I must have redrawn that sword at least a dozen times. Originally it was at a 3/4 view but I thought it would look better front on. Proved to be quite annoying but worth it

The shading is a bit uneven, i'm not sure i like the way there's so much blackness in the space around the sword (especially closer to the glove) and in the shading of the legs and boots. She would do well with a very dark background, like an alley or cornered against a dark brick wall corner with very strong shadows.

PS: when you draw Fram Ra, scan in the lineart and email it to me, I wanna try colouring and perhaps changing a few things for costume designing purposes.

edit: the unevenness that i'm talking about is those places i mentioned.

thats a piss easy fix, thats just dicking around with levels. The levels are applied seperately to the paper texture, the line art, the ground and the characters colours. I played around with the levels just then and its relatively minor adjustment to the character colours. I'll substitute it in a sec just after this post

Ah yes, that tutorial is great. I'd like to do a real image one day to use it on, since I haven't yet. Like the rendering on her breastplate and other armor there!
