A nice picture for a change
On the way to Cornwall I met a delightful girl at Reading station who initially tried to get me to sign up to the Red Cross but we ended up chatting about how much we miss Cornwall and love surfing. Cheered me up immensely

I don't know if I think of willowy in the same way you do but for me its flexible but brittle, which I'd say is quite accurate.
