When Candy-Heart moved out of the Blackquill mansion, it was a somewhat saddening event for everyone, but few have been hit harder by Candy-Heart’s departure than Blingy. In fact, she’s suffering from a bit of separation anxiety. In a household with fourteen kids, it was rather hard for all of them to get an equal amount of attention, but Blingy always feels like she’s getting the brunt of the lack of attention and is being neglected by her mother and stepfather. But in the wake of these feelings, Blingy had her cousin Candy-Heart to go to to talk about these feelings and hang out with. But now that Candy-Heart isn’t living in the mansion anymore, Blingy doesn’t have that option anymore and tends to avoid coming home after school is done for the day. Sometimes she stays away so long that her mother Chortle will call her and ask if she’ll be home for dinner to which Blingy replies ‘start without me’. But when Blingy has to come home, she stays confined her room doing stuff on her smartphone or taking long naps that cut into her sleep schedule. But one good thing is after going through a rough patch for a while, things are slowly but surely getting better between her and her boyfriend Snug.
