This piece is one of those special cases that I couldn't wait until after a bunch of Happy Tree Friends Teens get uploaded.

If you've read Happy Tree Friends Teens, or have seen one of my previous posts, you'd know that Timid sometimes gets bullied by his little brother, Toothy. Well, the reason I gave their relationship that dynamic was because in the past, I read a fan fiction called Total HTF Island where Toothy got picked on by two of CharmyNutty's characters (Bully and Townie, but mostly Bully) consistently picked on Toothy and didn't seem to get any kind of payback for it. So I decided to have him bully Timid simply because he could, so he'd have someone he was more powerful than. But CuteFluffyCat told me in a discussion we had in the comments section of of my Toothy bullies Timid drawing that having Toothy bully another character wasn't the answer and that instead, I could make character who'd protect Toothy from bad things and I've decided to take him up on his suggestion.

This is Starlight, a silver German Shepard. He is a magical tree friend who was sent down from heaven to protect both Toothy and Timid during their daily struggles with bullies after Timid wished on a star for some more bully protection for both himself and Toothy (Timid has friends who will protect him from the various bully characters in Happy Tree Friends Teens, but they are busy a lot of times and can't protect him all the time). He won't be appearing in Happy Tree Friends Teens until episode 16 because I already have ideas planned for episodes fourteen and fifteen that won't feature Timid or Toothy.

also, I just want to point out that Toothy's my favorite HTF character. I even have a fan button of him on my page! The only reason I ever had him be mean to Timid was so he could feel more powerful than someone!
