I saw a documntary on tv a few days ago. Rather suggestive. In some of the states in the US you are free to buy and breed tigers, panthers, leopards and so on. And many people buys small cubs so their children can have a unusual play-mate, but the game is over when the sweet little cub grows up to be a gigantic cat who eats 7-8 kilo raw meat each day!
Some people don't know what to do, and they can't afford the food, so they ties them up in small cages and abuse them.
Poor, poor cats! Hope this one belongs to a zoo?
