is that what thats called when it is all white? what do people mean when they say they used photoshop to "burn" something - make it lighter?

yep, when you can't see the details anymore (the sky for example is just white) the spot is burned.
I'm not sure about the photoshopthing - I think there might be a tool called "burn" in the photoshop but I think it darkens the spots you use it to. I'm not sure...

Great timing with this shot, it really is a great capture. This is the kind of thing you will want to remember in times to come, cute interaction with nature, acceptance from another living creature that does not employ the power of speach. It's really more than cute the way the babys eyes are closed. I really want to say more about this shot but I am just happy enough looking at the cuteness. Great timing, great capture and great lighting too.
