On days when the temp hits well above average we all have to cool off somehow, most of us go for a quick swim in the local pool or if we are lucky enough to have one in our own back yard we take a dip in it... some are not so well off and they take whatever chance they get to cool off... a swim in the river sometimes or a stroll through the sprinkler, maybe even a mid day shower...

well its the same for our wild life, when they get over heated on days like today, they have to cool off somehow... but i would have to say i have never seen a bird do what this one has done..

Dont forget to wash behind your WINGS?!?!?!
