Mairin loves to swim, and I believe when she's gone through stress or troubles she would go for a dip to cool herself off and forget them.
At the time I drew this, I had this little plot set out that Mairin had caught her brother and Locke being couplesy and she took a bit of offense from her brother over it because he would have known her feelings for Locke.
Thus, she had a little outburst toward her brother and stormed off, took a dip and Rival was simply there to....awkwardly attempt to comfort her  x'D
He's not good at the comforting thing haha

Yeah she gets over it pretty fast, she doesn't hold grudges well lol
