This is old art that I did back n Feburary that I forgot to upload, woops. XD
These are echidnas from tribes long forgotten.
The Red one Ezimba while the maroon one is Ikezu. Two lovers whose tribes were in bitter hatred.
They would keep their relationship a secret from their parents as the tribes would fight over protection of the Master Emerald. One night, a soothsayer who took the couple under their wing foresaw their decedents woud either protect or take control of the Master Emerald. but she also saw they wouldn't last long to see what would soon be Ezimba's child...
A day after Ezimba's child was born, her's and Ikezu's parents kidnapped the other's children and tortured them. Ezimba was force fed poison while Ikezu was stoned to death. This brought an end to both their tribes while their Soothsayer would guide their souls to the Master Emerald in eternal slumber, forever together embraced in love. The child of Ezimba would go on to raise her own tribe until her son tried to take control of the Master Emerald, leaving only her granddaughter to stop him.
