It's the season of Autumn once again. And Autumn is enjoying her namesake as she always does, by frolicking through the falling leaves like a filly.

The fall season is one of the two things in life that Autumn loves more than sex. The other being science stuff.

When Autumn was a filly, and her parents were still somehow making things work, she would absolutely LOVE the time of the year she was named for. She would love to just go out and frolic among the red, orange and yellow trees, making absolutely ginormous piles of leaves which she would then proceed to jump into. She also loved the festivities that accompanied Fall but her greatest joy came from the nature side of the season.

As Autumn grew up she lost many many things. Her father, then her mother, and because of her mother's influence her innocence. But one thing still remains from her foalhood, and that is her pure love of the Fall season.

Autumn still loves the season with a childlike passion. However, it is something that only a select few ponies know about her. She doesn't see her love of the season as "marketable" or "enticing" to potential mares, so she never tells any of the mares she meets about her secret joy. In fact Autumn's resigned herself to the eventuality that she will have to give up on her secret joy once she finally finds the right mare.

Until that time however, Autumn will continue to enjoy every Fall season like its her last. Because she never knows when the last one will be.

*BONUS STORY/FACT*
Autumn was born a calm yet excitable foal on the first day of Fall. Her parents were extremely proud at what they considered to be their first real accomplishment together, a sign that maybe they could actually be better ponies. However they had nothing but horrendous names thought up for their daughter. They were all out of ideas when the mother spotted a flier about the local Autumn Festival next to a worn out ad for an old science convention. The gears in her head spun and she realized that that name was worlds better than anything the two of them had come up with. She talked it over with the father and he agreed. And so, they named their daughter Autumn Science. Niether of them could've possibly understood how on the mark that name would be.
