it's pretty self explanatory I think, loll. I'm still working on their backstory but i've had this in the oven for mONTHS now and it was SUPPOSED to include Chaka but i'm still not satisfied with his look. But soon....ish, soonish you'll see it.

I like to acknowledge Aisha, Shani and Chaka as 'the trio' and that is also their birth order; Aisha was first and Chaka was last, Shani is the middle child.

Still debating if I want Aisha to be a child of Nala's cousin/sibling ...or just a random lioness from their cubhood or something like that. Shani is clear cut and set, her and Chaka and the children of Tama and Simba. Long story...that will be revealed in time, Tama's got her own sketch dump coming soon because we love a tragic character.

Shani and Aisha are your typical sisters, because they were some of the first cubs since Simba's rule and before some of the exiling happened with other lionesses and their kids, they were thick as thieves along with Chaka. When Chaka gets older he sets off on his own - a free spirit at heart- and while he offered for his sisters to come with and see the world, visit the other kingdoms, etc., they decline and stay with their mother pride. future cub sitters, huntresses and later the two become scouts, tracking the border for rogues that wandered in and reporting anything back to the guards, queen and king.

I really like these two Shani's colors are set in stone for the time being and so are Aishas - but if anyones gonna change at all it'll be Aisha first once I decide who her mom is. Fun fact while dooing these designs, they both started out from old kiara concept art/designs. Aisha being the design that looked a lot like nala that got scrapped and Shani being the brown-ish lioness figured to be kiara in an old storyboard/concept art of the fire scene in TLK2.
