So I recently discovered a charming old Japanese film called "Alakazam the Great" based on Journey to the West and I decided to destress with some fanart in the form of a screenshot redraw. The movie can be watched in dub on Youtube here!

I like discovering old animated movies like this and the main protagonist being a monkey won my attention immediately XD Especially with how cute he and other monkeys are drawn in the film. The backgrounds and diverse landscapes in this movie are also neat and the songs are pretty cute too. Overall quite enjoyed the style!
