Between finally reading the Planet of the Apes comic DA has advertised and playing Winston in Overwatch a whole bunch, I don't know which contributed more to my sudden urge to draw primates XD So here is a random gorilla!
As you can see from the speedpaint video, I had more than one vision for this peice. In the end, it turned out to be a messy thing of purples and golds.
This is my very first time drawing an adult gorilla, though I did draw a baby gorilla once after watching King Kong a couple years ago. Otherwise, I have not drawn them at all until now so I apologize for the derpy anatomy haha
It was rather fun, though!
